Haleakala National Park Volunteer Service Trip

This free activity, offered through Pacific Whale Foundation's Volunteering on Vacation program, offers free transportation and admission to Haleakala National Park, on an adventure led by a certified naturalist and professionally trained guide! While visiting the park, you'll help remove invasive plants or help with other projects to protect the park's incredible eco-system. In exchange for your efforts, you'll receive a free tote bag from Pacific Whale Foundation. Warm clothes, long pants and closed-toed shoes are required. Bring water and lunch for a picnic at the park.

This program runs every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. On the 1st Saturday, the trip will begin at 7:30 AM, meeting at the Ma'alaea Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store. On the 3rd Saturday, the trip will begin at 1:00 PM, meeting at the Ma'alaea Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store. The trip will last around 7 hours, including transportation to and from the park. Please plan to check in for the program 30 minutes in advance.
